In 2023 I got a serious illness and according to doctors I had „one foot on the other side”. The last year and a half, have been huge changes in my life.
I’ve never hiked in the mountains. My little challenge 15 years ago was to climb Lysa Hora in the Czech Republic. I finally did it this year, twice. Once alone and once with my „Misia” 🙂
Later, together with my daughter, we reached the top of Babia Góra using the most difficult trail.
Now I have many more dreams and challenges. And I intend to implement them all. I can say that, apart from my loved ones, it was definitely wildlife, photography and the mountains that helped me overcome my illnesses.
Life is a constant struggle, but I want to have an influence on how to fight for myself. And realizing your dreams is the key to this success.
Being over 50 doesn’t mean you can’t live life on your terms. Believe me, this is a great time to face your crazy dreams!

I must also mention that Kuba Patecki had a great influence on my rebirth after 50 (even though we don’t know each other).
Well, how so?
I can’t do it??? Of course I can! Of course I will!
Patec, thank you for a great boost of energy and sharing your concept of life!
And there are two more people: Morten Hilmer (a fantastic nature photographer from Denmark) and Eva Zu Beck (a sensational traveler and YouTuber from Poland).
Thank you very much – even though you all have no idea I exist 😉
I have great respect for all of you.
And finally: where does the nickname Papa come from?
I am a father and I have fantastic children, basically teenagers – almost three 😁
Papa is an international word, but the main reason is that some of my daughter’s friends from all over Europe started calling me that.
I liked it and it suits me.
And that is almost the whole genesis of Papa.
Almost, because Papa is also:
PHOTOGRAPHY, ADVENTURE, PASSION and ADRENALINE.
All in1 😉
And these numbers below are my reason to be proud.
