DON’T JUST PLACE THE PRODUCT.
GIVE IT A ROLE.
A vehicle that covers hundreds of kilometres on gravel roads. Equipment that works through dust and heat, without the luxury of a second take. A gemstone whose story can be followed from the ground, through local trade and craftsmanship, all the way to the finished piece of jewellery.
These are real stories.
Your brand shouldn’t have to fight for attention. People keep watching because they want to know what happens next.
Your product is in the frame because it has a reason to be there — because it helps make the story possible.
We give brands the opportunity to become part of a real journey through Namibia — through film, photography and documentary content created in real conditions, with real people and stories that cannot be staged on a film set.
WHAT YOUR BRAND GETS
A strong production does not end when the film goes live.
A single story produced in Namibia can be designed to generate a complete set of assets for use across different channels.
We are not offering exposure only through our own platforms. Partners receive content they can use across their own marketing and communications.
Depending on the project, this may include:
FILM
Branded documentaries,
brand and campaign films,
long-form documentary stories, as well as shorter edits created for campaigns and social media.
.
PHOTOGRAPHY
A professional image library — from products captured in real-world use to brand imagery, editorial photography and PR-ready assets.
CONTENT
Vertical video, short-form stories, behind-the-scenes material, and content created specifically for the brand’s own channels.
LICENSING & LONG-TERM USE
The content can continue working long after the journey ends — across websites, campaigns, publications and internal communications.
Usage rights and licensing are agreed individually for each project.
AUTHENTICITY DOESN’T MEAN IMPROVISATION
The documentary nature of the work does not mean the business side is figured out along the way.
Before production begins, we agree on the objectives, scope, deliverables, formats, timeline, budget, approval process and usage rights.
The partner knows exactly what they will receive. We know where to leave room for reality. Because that space is what separates documentary storytelling from advertising that merely imitates it..
We can plan the production. We won’t script genuine reactions.

THE LONG-TERM PLAN
Our main long-term goal is to grow Black & White Trails through extended film and photography journeys across Namibia.
That means weeks or months on the road, thousands of kilometres, working beyond the main tourist routes, and creating material designed to live far longer than a single social media post.
At the same time, one of Ivondia’s long-term goals is to establish a small, locally led place in Kunene that could support children and their families. Today, it is not a foundation or a fully developed social project.
We are not fundraising for it, and we do not offer it as part of a sponsored CSR package.
WHY WE KEEP COMING BACK
Namibia nie jest dla nas lokacją wynajętą do kampanii.
Black & White Trails is built around two people who see Namibia from very different perspectives.
Janusz brings more than twenty-five years of photographic experience, a background in reporting and documentary work, a growing body of film production, and many years of management experience in marketing, business development and promotion.
Ivondia is Namibian, with roots in Great Kunene. She knows Namibia as home, speaks its languages, and brings a depth of context that cannot be gained through a week of research before a flight.
She is the project’s second voice.
Black & White Trails was never created to chase one successful journey with the next fashionable destination.
We keep coming back because we have relationships there, family there, people we know, and stories we do not want to close after a single encounter.
Our short film Nothing Comes Without a Reason has passed 330,000 views on YouTube. It was not a campaign, and it was not built around the algorithm.
It was a story — documented and created by us.
And it showed us how far a story can travel when people genuinely want to stay with it until the end.
CHOOSE YOUR ROLE IN THE STORY
EXPEDITION PARTNER
A company can support a specific stage of Black & White Trails through funding, a vehicle, equipment, technology, transport, accommodation, logistics or other forms of support.
Before the project begins, we agree on the brand’s role and the content to be created for the partner.
The partnership can cover a single journey or extend across future stages of the project.
PRODUCT ON THE ROAD
The product becomes part of a real journey and is documented in actual use.
We do not need to know in advance that the perfect moment will happen at 5:20 PM on day three.
We know where we are going, what we are looking for, and what role the product can play.
Reality does the rest.
DEDICATED PRODUCTION
You do not need to sponsor Black & White Trails.
You can simply commission us to create the work.
We come in with a clear objective: to produce a film, photography, branded content, a product story, a campaign, or a documentary piece created in Namibia.
SPECIAL PRODUCTIONS
We are also open to working with advertising and PR agencies, as well as production companies.
We can take responsibility for a smaller production from start to finish, or become part of a larger project — from concept and research to photography, film and field production.
WHERE WE SEE THE POTENTIAL
PRODUCTS IN THE REAL WORLD
The best branded content happens when a product has a genuine reason to be in the frame.
A 4×4 takes us beyond the end of the tarmac. Photo and video equipment helps create the material that can later become part of the campaign itself. Connectivity matters where staying in touch genuinely counts. Off-grid solutions keep the work going where infrastructure simply is not there.
Clothing, equipment, insurance, transport and technology can all be shown doing what they are actually designed to do — not placed in situations created purely for the camera.
Here, the product drives, connects, protects, powers and performs — and that is exactly what the audience sees.
We do not want to define a closed list of industries, although the most natural areas for collaboration include:
- automotive & 4×4
- photography & film
- technology & telecommunications
- transport & logistics
- insurance & safety
- gemstones, jewellery & responsible sourcing
- outdoor & apparel
- hospitality & tourism
- energy & off-grid solutions
- local craftsmanship
- finance & payments
- education & social impact projects
BEFORE IT BECAME AN OFFER
This film was created entirely on our own initiative during one of our journeys through Namibia. It was not commissioned, paid for, sponsored or supported in any way.
We made it because we wanted to see whether we could tell the story of a vehicle with the same sense of journey we bring to the road itself.
HOW TO GET STARTED
We do not need a thirty-page brief.
Tell us what you want to achieve, what you are selling or representing, and roughly what kind of collaboration you have in mind.
You may already have a campaign.
You may have a product.
Or you may have nothing more than an idea written in a single sentence.
From there, we can work together to find the right story, location, format and production approach for the brand.
Then we define the practical details: what we create, where we work, what the production requires, what you receive — and what it costs.
There is no need to sponsor a six-month journey if what you need is one film.
And we are certainly not going to pretend that a well-funded one-off production is somehow less interesting than a long-term partnership. 😉
Depending on the project, we also work with trusted local camera operators, photographers and sound professionals in Namibia. For selected productions, we can also collaborate with local musicians to create original music.
For larger or more complex assignments, we can expand the team with trusted professionals from Poland, covering additional production and post-production needs where required.
